Image Data

When you use the extension to scan a manga page, the image is temporarily processed to identify text. We do not permanently store your images. They are processed solely to return the translation and reading data to you.

We use trusted third-party services to provide our core functionality. These services may process data on our behalf:

Supabase: For secure user authentication and database hosting.
Google Cloud Vision API: To detect text within the images you select.
OpenAI: To provide context-aware translations and sentence generation.
Payment Processors (Paddle/Creem/Gumroad): To securely handle subscription payments. We do not store your credit card information directly.

We use your information solely to:

Provide the Kanji identification and translation services.
Sync your learning progress across your devices.
