How to Use Kanji Lens
Follow these simple steps to start learning Japanese from any content on the web.
Install the Extension
Download Kanji Lens from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. Click "Add to Browser" and the extension will be ready to use instantly.
Log In or Register
Click the Kanji Lens icon in your browser toolbar and sign in with your account. This syncs your learning progress across all your devices.
Scan Images for Japanese Text
Found a manga panel or raw webtoon? Right-click the image to open the Kanji Lens context menu and choose what you need.
- Scan for Kanji – Extract text and study word by word
- Translate Image – Generate a full translation overlay
